A commitment to education and sustainability
A youth-led initiative dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship, leadership, and collaboration among young people in the City of London.

A passion for environmental action
Comprising representatives from local schools and alumni passionate about sustainability, the board provides a platform for youth voices to influence environmental policies, advocate for education on sustainability, and collaborate on innovative projects that address pressing environmental challenges.
Education
The board develops youth-led environmental curricula in partnership with institutions like the University of Surrey’s Institute for Sustainability, providing practical learning experiences in environmental stewardship outside traditional classroom settings.

Project Management
The board facilitates collaboration among students and alumni across City of London schools to manage and deliver environmental projects addressing challenges like waste reduction, rainwater harvesting, and renewable energy adoption.
Youth Involvement
The initiative brings together current pupils and alumni from the City of London Corporation’s Family of Schools, creating a platform where young people aged 13-25 can actively engage in environmental advocacy and decision-making processes.
“Young people are at the heart of tackling climate change. Giving them a voice and a platform to feel engaged with, and listened to, is crucial to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders”
